What is Spraoi?
Spraoi is a party-game app that runs the game so your group can just play. It deals the cards, runs the clock, keeps score and says whose turn it is. The acting, guessing, arguing and shouting happen in the room, not on a screen. It's free and runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install.
How it works
- One phone runs the game. Yours, or a tablet. It shows the cards, so pass it to whoever's giving clues.
- Friends can join on their phones. In the browser, with no app and no account. Some games ask for words or names first, then phones go down. No phone? They can still play.
- Spraoi does the rest. The deck, the clock, whose turn it is, the score.
The games
- Guess! (that's Charades). Act it out, draw it, or describe it without saying the word. Sixty seconds, two skips, a point for every right guess.
- Celebrity (also called Fishbowl). Everyone drops famous names into one bowl. In teams, race the clock through the same bowl three times: say anything, then one word, then act it out.
- Impostor. Everyone sees the same secret word except the impostor. One clue each, then vote: who's faking it?
- Categories. Spraoi rolls the letter and runs the clock. You race to fill your sheet with answers that start with it; the ones nobody else wrote score. Grab a pen.
- Blanks. Read the phrase and secretly write one word for the blank. Match exactly one other player for the top score. Grab a pen.
